Departments
How do you assign a Till to a specified Department?
All sales from a till will post in the specified Department or Cost Centre.
In POS, select File, select Customise POS from the dropdown, select Tills at the bottom of the window.
In the Till Details there is a box marked Department. If you use Departments you need to enter the appropriate Department to ensure that sales are credited to that department.
Because departments are assigned to a Till it is important that users always use the correct Till. This is best achieved by assigning the Till to the users PC
