What are some of the ways to apply discounts in POS?
There are four simple ways to apply discounts in POS using Function_Keys<LinkId=856>
$$$ Discount - This key enters a dollar value discount to the total of the transaction. Enter the dollar amount and click the $$$ Discount function button
% discount of Total - This key enters a percentage discount to the total of the transaction. Enter the percentage figure (ie. for a 5% discount, enter 5) and click the % Discount of Total function button
% Discount of item - This key applies a percentage discount to a single product within a transaction. Select the product, enter the percentage figure and click the % Discount of Item function button
Price Overide - This key allows you to enter a new price for an individual product. The change ONLY applies to the current transaction. Select the product, enter the new dollar value and click the Price Overide function key
