Have you defined your Preferences for Payments?
With Preferences there is not a seperate heading for Banking however some of the Payment_Preferences<LinkId=871> directly effect Banking. In particular these include:
Group POS Deposits (Cash Sales) - If using POS this selection will group all cash receipts into a single Deposit Auto Select Deposits - Select if you wish to speed up deposits by entering the total and letting ERP match the deposit lines automatically Deposit Account - Select here the default account to appear on deposits - this can be overridden on individual transactions but having the account most often receiving deposits will save time and reduce errors
